FAA Physicals

 

Dr. Thompson is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for Class 1 transport pilots, Class 2 & 3 pilots, and Air Traffic controllers.

 

Prior to your exam you must complete the health questionaire and access a MEDEX confirmation number at https://medxpress.faa.gov.  Please bring your confirmation number to the exam (ATC excepted).

 

Private Pilots:

Fees are payable by cash or check for private pilots paying for their own medical exams.  They are NOT covered by insurance and we are unable to bill your insurance for the exam.  Patients must pay at the time of the exam.

 

Why is Dr. Thompson an AME?

Dr. Thompson is a private pilot and has a great love for flying.  He enjoys working with pilots as they tend to be highly motivated patients and keep their health a priority.
